OUR AMAZING VOLUNTEERS
We are blessed with many volunteers who share their time to make everyone's experience at Colfax UMC be enjoyable. From musicians, sound technicians, and others who take time from their busy schedules to serve in different roles to help promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we want to honor them for all they do! If you see them around...thank them. And remember...we are always looking to plug people in to help serve. We believe we all have a part to play in helping serve God.
Our Technical Crew
This crew is vitally important for the success of each church service. They run the sound system, computer, projectors, camera's...allowing everything to flow every Sunday morning. Their work helps us produce a quality service to those who attend in person and join in online.
We want to thank:
Our two mainstays are Craig Bowen and Jill Butler.
Craig and Jill are siblings who have been raised in CUMC and they work together seamlessly to make everything run smooth. If you ever get hungry during worship...sneak up to the sound booth in the balcony...you may find some snacks!!!
Recently, Mason Robertson and Cassidi Jenkins have teamed up to step in when called upon. We thank them for helping out when they can.
Chris Greiger also helps run the sound board from his phone some Sunday mornings.
We thank Mr. Mike Hufford for helping with the upgrades to our system over the past few years and the extra time fixing things as issues arise. To reach Mike and his company AV PRO LLC, email: avitsec@gmail.com or call 765-652-0222

Our Musicians
Church music is important. From Preludes through the Postludes, music makes the service feel special. We are grateful for our volunteers who play piano and organ (and occasionally the guitar) for us each Sunday.
We thank Donna Robertson and Laruan Swain for playing piano for us. Donna and Lauran are sister who have been in CUMC for a lot of years and spent hundreds of hours playing for us.
Sue Swachamer plays our organ for us each Sunday. Thank you Sue.
And Retired Pastor Mike Flowers usually leads vocals during worship (and at times will bring one of his many guitars to church and play for us). Thank you Pastor Mike!
